Held in Quiet Making

Yejin Shin | ARTBO

Working with Korean traditional textiles such as mosi and silk, Yejin Shin brings together fragments gathered over time, allowing material memory to surface through slow processes of stitching and brushwork.

Through this exhibition, Shin invites viewers to slow down and encounter a space where material, memory, and time are held in quiet balance.

Through hand-stitching and brushwork, each piece carries subtle varitation, marking it truly one of a kind.

Yejin Shin is Seoul-born, Los Angeles-based textile artist who has dedicated years to mastering Jogakbo, the traditional Korean art of patchwork. With a professional background in the fashion industry, she draws on her expertise to craft artworks that evoke a sense of space. Yejin’s work transcends tradition, combining meticulous hand-stitching with a modern sensibility. Guided by her unique artistic perspective and a keen eye for harmonious color combinations, her creations reinterpret Korea’s textile heritage, blending timeless elegance with contemporary charm.

Mosi Moon Jar

DIFFUSER SET

ELOREA x ARTBO Collaboration

Limited Edition - 40 pieces

Mosi Moon Jar is a limited edition collaboration between ELOREA and Yejin Shin, reimagining the Korean moon jar in traditional mosi, a Korean ramie fabric. Long admired for its quiet balance, the moon jar is valued not for perfect symmetry, but for the gentle asymmetry shaped by the maker’s hand.

When placed over ELOREA’s diffuser solution bottle, the flat textile softly forms into volume, taking on a sculptural presence. Moving beyond function, the piece becomes both vessel and object. Through this collaboration, traditional material, contemporary craft, and scent come together in quiet dialogue, reinterpreting the legacy of the moon jar for the present moment. Available exclusively at our NY and LA stores.
